Mrs. Elizabeth Agan received her Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Mathematics with a minor in Spanish from Suny Cortland. She received her Master's Degree from Elmira College. She is permanently certified in both Math and Spanish. She began her teaching career at Waverly Jr. Sr. High School where she taught both Math and Spanish for 5 years.
She returned to the classroom at Holy Family Middle School to teach Spanish after many years as a stay-at-home mom. She has been a teacher at Notre Dame since the closing of Holy Family in 2012. She currently teaches 7th and 8th grade Spanish. She also teaches Spanish I to high school students.
She is a member of ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language), Mrs. Agan is the Foreign Language Department Chair, and the Moderator of the Junior Class.
Mrs. Agan is the proud mother of 4 Notre Dame Graduates and her husband, Steve, is a member of the Class of '79. Her experience as a parent at ND was superb and she is honored to be part of the faculty!
Mrs. Agan is available for extra help before and after school. She is also available by appointment.
