STEM Teacher

Notre Dame High School Gr. 7-12 is a college preparatory school in Elmira, NY and is currently seeking to fill the full-time position of a STEM (Science & Math) Teacher. The qualified candidate should have the ability to teach coursework in Regents Algebra, Middle School Science, and Principles of Chemistry. The ideal individual will possess both teaching experience and certification for grades 7-12, have experience using technology tools for both math and science instruction, and have effective classroom management skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and communicate clearly with all stakeholders through written, spoken, and visual media. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, however, a Masters Degree is preferred. Past teaching experience is preferred. Such alternatives to the above qualifications may be considered as the Head of School may find appropriate and acceptable.
