Mrs. Marie McCaig

Marie McCaig was very content with her full-time mom and part timemedical position. Her plans were redirected when a lovely Sister’s of Saint Joseph nun appeared at her door with a canvas bag filled with religious education materials and an urgent request for a teacher. With her inability to say “no”, and a very reluctant “yes”, thus began her 30 plus years in vocation of sharing her Catholic faith.

She is a passionate convert to Catholicism who loves engage her students in moral and theological discussion. Outside of Notre Dame she is mom to Joshua, Shauna, Gabriel, Caleb and Jonas. She loves to paint, sew, knit and play the bagpipes. Her husband, Mike, is a saint!
