Mrs. Gwen Beckman

Mrs. Beckman taught music and band at Holy Family from 2010-2020, and later also taught music at St. Mary Our Mother and Corning Christian Academy. She is a member of NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) and is a certified Piano Adjudicator for festivals. She enjoys teaching music because it allows us to experience another language and express ourselves in ways we sometimes can't find words for. The music we create together makes life better!

Mrs. Beckman has three adult children and one child in elementary school. She has lots of grand-fur babies: Casey, Pop-Pop, Doc, Flash, Ollie, and Artie (cats), Thorn and Vesper (dogs). When time permits, she enjoys traveling and needlework crafting.
