Mr. Andre Starks

Prior to coming to Notre Dame, Mr. Starks spent two years as the Head Coach of the Erie Prep Academy National Team, where he also taught Physical Education. His favorite subject to teach is health because, as he puts it, “no matter your career path, health is something that everyone needs.”

He believes that health education provides students with practical knowledge they can carry with them well beyond the classroom and hopes to help students develop habits and make informed choices that will support their physical and mental well-being throughout their lives.

Through both athletics and education, Mr. Starks enjoys encouraging students to challenge themselves, build confidence, and develop skills that will serve them both on and off the field.
