In 2014, Notre Dame launched its Legacy of Caring Campaign, a $5 million Capital Campaign for endowment, academic excellence and capital repairs to the building and athletic fields. The Legacy of Caring Campaign was initially designed to address much needed improvements to the athletic fields, but as the campaign progressed other important needs emerged such as the establishment of an endowment to help fund scholarships and tuition assistance and funds for academic excellence for professional development and upgrades to technology.
Having entered a new year, the fruits of our Legacy of Caring Campaign have been realized in the completion of renovations to the Brewer Memorial Stadium, including a new track and turf field, the expanded and resurfaced tennis courts and the new lighting and rigging systems in the auditorium. All of these upgrades have made it safer for our students and our visitors.
Notre Dame is extremely grateful for the generous donors and benefactors who have helped make this possible; however, there are still major expenses to settle as well as future projects including upgrades to our heating system and necessary improvements in both technology and academic excellence. This campaign has raised 4 million dollars in pledges, but we will still need your help to reach our campaign goal of 5 million dollars.
All gifts, no matter what size, are welcome. If you or your family or friends are able to help, please contact Sister Mary Walter or Ms. Julie Bennett-McInerny in the Advancement Office at 607-734-2267.
