I am happy to be serving in my sixth year at Notre Dame as the Assistant Principal. I began my work in education as a guidance counselor at Johnson City High School. After several years as a guidance counselor I was promoted to Assistant Principal and have been in administration ever since. In addition to my experience as a public school educator, I also have experience working at Glove House, The ARC as well as higher education serving as counselor at Raritan Valley Community College and Seton Hall University. I have coached basketball, football and golf throughout my career at the high school level and have coached football at the collegiate level.
We have three children; Sophia, Joseph and Stella. Each child has a unique personality which keeps us on our toes. We have lived in New Jersey, South Carolina and Texas; eventually settling down in Owego, New York, in November of 2000.
I absolutely love what I do, and I feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work with young people and their families here at Notre Dame. Establishing strong working relationships with students, families and colleagues in an effort to forward the mission and vision of the Sisters of Mercy is a great challenge, worthwhile endeavor and a rewarding experience.
