MUSIC TEACHER

Notre Dame High School Gr. 7-12 is currently seeking to fulfill the position of Music Teacher. This person will direct/rehearse the junior high band (grades 7-8), concert band (grades 9-12) and jazz band (grades 9-12). This person will also direct the junior high chorus, the concert choir, and the select choir. Developing and directing a Praise Band for campus liturgy in collaboration with the Campus Minister is required. Strong classroom management and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities of this job will include, but are not limited to, preparing for two concerts as well as additional performances throughout the year. In conjunction with the performance groups, the educator will provide instrumental group lessons to students. The successful candidate must remain apprised of new theories and techniques in the field. This person will also assist students in preparation for area festivals. The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, however; a Master's Degree is preferred. Additionally, past teaching experience is also preferred. MATHEMATICS TEACHER

Notre Dame High School Grades 7-12 is a college preparatory school in Elmira, NY and is currently seeking to fill the position of Mathematics Teacher.

 

The ideal candidate will possess both teaching experience and certification for grades 9-12, skilled at using technology within instruction(ie. Desmos, TI Navigator) and effective classroom management skills. Coursework experience in AP Statistics, AP Calculus preferred. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and clearly communicate with all stakeholders through written, spoken language. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, however a Master’s Degree is preferred. Notre Dame High School Grades 7-12 is a college preparatory school in Elmira, NY, and is currently seeking to fill the position of Science Teacher.

 

The ideal candidate will possess both teaching experience and certification for grades 7-12, be willing to incorporate NGSS and 3-dimensional learning into the curriculum, and have effective classroom management skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and clearly communicate with all stakeholders through written, spoken language. The candidate must have a desire to develop curriculum and instruction through collaboration. Interest or experience with Robotics is a plus. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, however, a Master’s Degree is preferred.
