Library Services

The Sister Mary Walter Hickey Library is located on the second floor of Notre Dame above the Main Office.  It is available to all Notre Dame students and their families, faculty, and staff during school hours.

The library houses over 7,000 cataloged print titles which include current fiction, classics, graphic novels, DVDs, audiobooks, biographies, literary criticisms, and other non-fiction materials to support the curriculum.  We also have access to a number of ebooks, online encyclopedias, and electronic databases that are available through the library portal both on campus and remotely (with provided passwords).

Students are welcome to come before or after school to borrow materials, do homework or research, or just sit and relax.  They may also use the library during the school day during study halls unless it is reserved by a classroom teacher.  There are 6 Windows machines available for student use, and students may also utilize the printer for their classwork.

The library is staffed by a full-time certified School Library Media Specialist who is available to assist students with research, discuss and recommend books, and instruct students on technology use where needed.
