Retreats
  • Ministry

Each Class has a scheduled day of retreat:
  • The Freshmen retreat is focused on building the community. Freshmen learn about Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy core values of hospitality. The goal is for freshman to learn more about our school traditions, Mercy values, and to get to know one another.
  • Sophomores go on a Service Retreat to either the Community Kitchen, Holy family Primary or Holy Family Intermediate Schools. The purpose is to have sophomores recognize the value, and importance of volunteering. They are encouraged to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours their junior and senior years.
  • The Junior Retreat theme is "Called to Serve". This retreat offers a variety of activities to help the student reflect on their values, gifts and talents. Students have an opportunity to hear how others have learned to discern God's call in their life.
  • The Senior Retreat helps students during their final days at Notre Dame. Students reflect on their past, present and future. Activities are geared around these different times in their lives.
